Details: Are you a passionate chef looking for a busy kitchen to work in? Do you like the prospect of promotion and progression? Do you like the thought of working in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside with regular friendly faces? Then this is the ideal opportunity for you. Our client is looking for two chef de parties to join their existing team of 3 chefs at this luxurious over-60s village in the heart of Wiltshire countryside. If variety is important to you, then you will be pleased that this role is helping the restaurant at the centre of the village offer breakfast, lunch and dinner – where you will be serving British classics for up to 125 covers – as well as catering for fine-dining functions where you will get the chance to demonstrate your culinary flair. Furthermore, with such incredible facilities, you can make the most of your time while you’re at the village. With over 25 acres to explore on foot, and certain days permitted use of the leisure facilities – including an onsite gym and pool – we’re sure that the successful candidates will feel right at home at this wonderful village in no time at all.

Skills: • Own your own station, keeping it clean, ensuring you have prepped the correct amount of food and ensuring every dish you create is perfectly made to the high standards expected • Contribute towards and spread a positive team spirit • Carry out instructions from senior chefs and to give instructions to junior team members during service • Complete storage, stock rotation & maintain stock levels to minimise wastage • Check and put away deliveries as required • Thrives on working in a team in a busy kitchen • Loves producing beautiful and tasty dishes • Takes pride in good time-keeping and personal presentation • Had achieved minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent) • Has Basic Food Hygiene certificate • Has at least one year’s experience working as CDP in a busy kitchen

Shift Details: • Minimum 40 hours a week • Reports to Sous Chef/Head Chef • £9-10ph (approximately £23,400pa) • Complimentary meals provided • Use of leisure facilities at certain times • Mixture of split and straight shifts on rotation • Own transport required due to location
